Pocket Diapers have been one of the most popular cloth diapering systems for a long time as an easy to use diaper system! The most common things we see parents today asking for are natural fibers and affordable diapers. We are so excited to introduce our new simple and organic pocket diaper from Piper Diapers!
Our Organic Cotton One-Size Pocket Diaper is made with 100% GOTS certified organic cotton jersey pocket with two openings, one in the front and one in the back. Included is a 6 layer organic cotton insert of the same material.
The organic cotton insert is perfect for young babies as a daytime insert. Please note as they get older or if they are a particularly heavy wetter, you may need to add additional absorbency. As they grow, the included insert is a fabulous booster to whatever other absorbency you choose.
- Adjust the rise of the diaper according to baby's weight using the chart below (no need to unsnap this part between washes)
- Adjust the front closure to achieve desired waist size
- "Stuff" insert(s) into the diaper pocket
- Change the entire diaper when wet or soiled
- Remove insert before washing for best washing results
- 1st row: small 8-15 pounds
- 2nd row: medium 15-23 pounds
- 3rd row: large 23-35+ pounds
- Spray or shake solids into toilet (exclusively breastfed babies can skip this step!)
- Cold rise or quick wash (no detergent)
- Warm or hot wash (with detergent), extra rinse
- Tumble Dry low or line dry
Why Organic Cotton?
Many parents today are thinking about what materials are touching their baby's delicate skin, and more and more are looking for organic options. Cotton is very absorbent, soft and washes easily. Cotton is NOT a stay dry option like many other pocket diapers on the market, the cotton will feel wet which makes this a great daytime option.
